Happy Mother's Day to All Mothers Worldwide. We have been been celebrating Mother's Day for nearly 115 years.  Anna Maria Jarvis was the founder of Mother's Day in the United States.  Her mother Ann Reeves Jarvis, had frequently expressed a desire for the establishment of such a holiday.  Then after her death, the first Mother's Day was celebrated in 1908 by Anna Maria Jarvis. Anna honoured her mother with a memorial.
